The Department of Computer Science (CS) and the Bachelor of Innovation (BI)
Program at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) invites
applications for a tenured/tenure-track position in computer vision and
innovation.

position is filled.

Job Responsibilities: The candidate is expected to develop strong research
program and support educational programs at undergraduate, MS, and PhD
levels. A successful candidate will be expected to develop or continue to
develop a strong research group with externally funded research program in
computer vision/pattern recognition (CV/PR) and or related areas.
Educationally, the successful candidate will develop graduate CV/PR courses
as well as support UCCS programs in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The candidate must hold, before Aug 10, 2013, a PhD in computer science or a
closely related field. The candidate is expected have a strong publication
record and advanced candidates are expected to have either funding and/or
industry experience. As the position involves co-teaching in innovation and
entrepreneurship courses, relevant experience in transitioning ideas into
impact, such as industry or start ups is preferred.

Salary and appointment level will be commensurate with skills and
