I presume that everyone in the FogLab gets these emails from Bob Hanson (the
building manager of Elings Hall). If you don't, you may want to ask Bob to
add you to his list.

Subject: [Cnsi-bldg-occupants] Heat in Elings Hall
Good morning,
I realize not all of you on this list have an office in Elings Hall. My
apologies and please disregard if that's the case.
For the rest of you folks, the heat is being turned back on today and
tomorrow. This is the radiant heat panels you all find in your offices at
the ceiling by the window. The issues that have been worked on for the last
month or so are about as good as they are going to get and we should see
some improvement in the ability to control the heat from each office. Many
offices will still undoubtedly have some problems related to other issues we
have not addressed yet - but at least the heat will be on and we can turn
off most of the space heaters. A very few offices may still not have heat as
this is one of the failure mechanisms of the system too. In those cases you
may continue to use space heaters in a careful efficient manner.
Thanks for your patience. We will continue to work the issues until they are
all resolved.
Regards,
Bob
