For details on our group and sample projects, please see the MSR websites
<http://research.microsoft.com/ccs/> http://research.microsoft.com/ccs/ .
Located on Microsoft's campus in Redmond, near Seattle, Washington,
Microsoft Research is dedicated to basic and applied research in computer
science. We strive to make our internships fun (group activities),
productive (good research with publications), and profitable (subsidized
housing and transportation).
If interested, please e-mail a cover letter to Zicheng Liu
(zliu at microsoft.com) containing your research interests. The subject of all
messages concerning your application should be "CCS Intern: <firstname
lastname>", e.g., "CCS Intern: John Smith". In addition, please provide a
CV along with two letters of recommendation to Microsoft's online internship
application site:
<http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/jobs/intern/apply.aspx>

Offers of internships will be made on a "rolling admissions" basis, so it is
to your advantage to apply early. The hard deadline is February 28, 2011;
we expect to have all responses out by the end of March.
Thanks,
Zicheng Liu
