...for explaining and demoing your work to both the TED visitors
and Open House attendees today. We had a great turnout and
I heard many positive comments and Thank Yous from our visitors.

I can't overemphasize how important such events are for our
visibility, for community building, and outreach. Also, they are good
practice to explain your work on various levels (as many of you found
out today - a high-level, motivational overview often goes a long way),
and practice the so-called Elevator pitch
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elevator_pitch).

Also, it was great to see (and have as a result) a clean(er) FogLab :)
