[4eyes] Interesting AR app

[Saiph Savage]

I really liked this AR App http://www.110stories.com/. In essence people
can view the twin towers in their proper location relative to any location
on Earth where they would have been visible from. People emotionally
experience the towers and submit their twin tower related stories from any
location they are.

What interested me from this app, is not so much  the technology that it
uses (it doesn't use at all the latest 3d rendering technologies), but the
fact that it touches people emotionally, it is a powerful AR experience
that connects people to the application. I think this is a key component
for building great and useful AR applications, that deliver a great user
experience.
