Graph Visualization Research - a Product-Oriented Perspective

Chief Technology Officer, Tom Sawyer Software

Tom Sawyer Software is a data visualization company, specialized in
displaying graph-like structures in data. It provides software
components that software vendors embed in their products, and a data
visualization platform that corporations use to build customized
visualization applications. I'll give a detailed demonstration of our
products, showing the kind of issues our customers face. A lot of the
techniques we use in our products have roots in academic research, and
I'll present some of the challenges we face in that context.
