The Innovation Group at DynaVox Technologies, Research & Development
Department, is looking for interns to help with various research projects
related to assistive technologies, AAC devices, computer vision and
graphics, augmented vision & reality, methods of user interaction, passive
eye(-gaze) monitoring, attentive displays, tracking and recognition,
multi-camera systems, projector-camera systems, and robotics. Working with a
team and building upon existing hardware and software, interns will design,
build, develop, and test computer vision, augmented reality, and
human-computer interaction algorithms for augmented vision, assistive
technologies and AAC devices. This exciting opportunity to explore next
generations of AAC devices in the context of a unique research lab is open
to outstanding students who have experience or strong coursework in computer
vision, electrical engineering and related fields. The nature and scope of
the project will depend in part on the background and interests of the
intern.
