[4eyes] Training HMMs for Gesture recognition

Hey everyone, 

I'm an exchange student working with Prof. Turk on gesture recognition in the Allosphere. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of working with Hidden Markov Models? I think I understand the theoretical points (at least for all the simple examples) however I'm struggling to see how can train them with dynamic gestures. 

If so, is anyone able to talk it through with me tomorrow afternoon or Friday afternoon?
