Hi everyone,

Thanks for a great job pulling off the Open House today! These events
really do us a lot of good on and off campus. See the enclosed note
below as just one small example of people appreciating the effort.
Feedback in general was great. People even came up from Malibu for this.

Hi Tobias,

Thank you for inviting us today.  I brought  a few visitors who really
enjoyed the demonstrations and interacting with the graduate students.
They told me that they had a chance to meet you after I left and you
shared a few extra demos with them.  Thank you so much for showing them
such a great time.  They were truly impressed and I'm glad they were
able to take some time off from their research to visit our campus.
They work for a local research company in Goleta.

     The Four Eyes Lab, in the Computer Science Department at UCSB, will be
     having an open house from 1-4pm this Friday, June 4th. We invite you
     to come by the lab and learn about our current research projects.
     We hope to see many new and familiar faces. Visitors of our
     previous open houses will see a new set of projects and, we think,
     exciting new research results.

     The name "Four Eyes" comes from our areas of research interest: the
     four I’s of "Imaging, Interaction, and Innovative Interfaces." Current
     research focuses on augmented and virtual reality, computer vision,
     visualization, 3D computer graphics, and human-computer interaction.

     You can find brief descriptions of the projects to be presented at the
     open house at http://ilab.cs.ucsb.edu/ under Announcements
