Hey guys,
Here's a few options I found while looking around.
Remote/Online Backup Solutions:
There are a few options here. Mozy seemed to have a good reputation:
http://mozy.com/pro. They do incremental, unlimited, encrypted offsite
backup.... However, the bad part is that it will cost ( $6.95 + $0.50/GB)
per month. A few reviews seemed to say that was a reasonable price. It isn't
reasonable when we get to the TB level of data though.
File and SVN Repository Servers:
Attached are two quotes for a rack server (8 TB) and a tape backup rack (up
to 24 TB). Pricing is $6200 and $5300 respectively.
Chris is going to get a new purchase order for fixing the Queen.
Let me know if anyone else has any suggestions/problems/avenues to look
into.
