Hello computer graphics teachers, professors, and mentors:
The application process for the SIGGRAPH 2010 Student Volunteer Program is under way. Thanks to partners in education like you, we have been able to push this program to greater limits this year! You are one of our most valuable resources: 45% of our students last year heard about the Student Volunteer Program through a teacher. We have less than a month to go--the deadline to apply is February 15, 2010, and we need your help!
The Student Volunteer Committee has compiled some promotional material as we continue to look for hard-working, motivated students interested in helping put on one of the premiere events in computer graphics.

SIGGRAPH 2010 marks the 37th annual conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques. The SIGGRAPH 2010 Student Volunteer Program is a unique opportunity for students to meet the "people behind the pixels" through the SIGGRAPH experience. Join us and please share this invitation with your students and colleagues!!
As a Student Volunteer, you will go behind the scenes to help run an international event which draws thousands of people who share a passion for advanced computer graphics technologies. Many exclusive Student Volunteer events will be coordinated just for you, from special industry-led sessions to résumé and portfolio reviews! In return for your hard work, you will also be given complimentary admission to the entire SIGGRAPH 2010 conference! Several industry leaders began their journey to stardom with their involvement in the SIGGRAPH Student Volunteer Program...you could be next!
All of this is available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students who are enrolled full time for at least one semester during the 2009-2010 school year and are at least 18 years of age before the SIGGRAPH 2010 Conference.
