[4eyes] Unveiling the "Sixth Sense"

I thought it was a great presentation.

Pattie Maes is one of the foremost researchers in recommendation 
systems    I've followed her work closely for many years, and I can say 
that the recommendation techniques (content-based or collaborative 
techniques) are also more than 10 years old  (cf:  shardanand and maes '95)
What i found most interesting about the talk was that recommender 
systems which have traditionally been viewed on desktop or laptop 
devices are becoming more pervasive and easily accessible.  It will be 
interesting to see the new ways in these collaborative systems get 
deployed on mobile or wearable hardware.

    Great demo and scenarios!

    Some of the ideas were not new. The hand keyboard is at least a
    10-year-old idea, developed at the Univ. of Oulu, Finland. See the
    attached picture.
