The Nokia Research Center Hollywood seeks a research team member to join

their new research laboratory in Santa Monica. This exciting new

lab will carry out a range of research activities in the areas of mobile

Augmented Reality experiences, innovative use of sensors, new forms of

user interface and interaction, and large-scale mobile Internet services,

systems and solutions. This lab will leverage the culture, talents and

The successful candidate must be able to implement practical, robust

solutions that run in real-time in real-world applications.

This person will be recognized as an expert in computer vision

and will have excellent communication and collaboration skills. The

position requires both deep and broad understanding at the software

engineering level of vision algorithms. The successful candidate

will actively participate in a team that will deliver innovative

concepts, demonstrations and working prototypes. This person will be

expected to create intellectual property, publish papers, and be

actively involved in the research community. The research perspective
