Roberto Manduchi from UC Santa Cruz will be visiting UCSB on Friday, giving
a talk in the 2:00pm MAT/CS 595 course (http://www.mat.ucsb.edu/595M). His
research is in algorithms and systems for visual sensor processing, with
applications in assistive technology for the blind and sensor networks. It
should be an interesting talk.

Yuan-Fang and Manjunath, please pass this on to your groups.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in meeting with Roberto sometime
on Friday (and if so, when you're available). I especially need some people
in the morning (10am-noon).

The 2pm talk is in 1132 Frank Hall (CS Conference Room).

            Matthew
